This exterior painting project in Seattle required removing delaminating paint on shingles and clapboard siding. The paint registered positive for lead paint so containment practices as established by the EPA were used by Shearer. After paint was reduced to a sound substrate penetrating long oil primer was applied to all bare wood. Sherwin Williams Resilience exterior grade paint was used on siding and trim.
