Selecting the right paint colors for your house can be a daunting experience. In addition to using paint chips and color fan decks, we recommend exploring paint using the Benjamin Moore Personal Color Viewer tool, located on the Benjamin Moore website.
Keep in mind, the color reproduction of a computer monitor is not a substitute for real paint color evaluation.
This online tool is designed to get you started in the right color direction.
Step 1: Upload a picture of your home.
Step 2: Use the drawing tools to highlight areas on your picture where you wish to change the color. The best practice is to block off a large area and then change drawing tools to subtract details you do not want to change color.
In our example, we want to preserve the window and shutter colors.
Step 3 is to select colors from the Benjamin Moore Color Palette, and then paste the color in the areas you have previously highlighted.
Again, online tools are a jumping-off point to get you started. The real paint should be tested on a surface and evaluated in natural light.
