Anna’s Bio for Shearer Blog:

Anna Giles originally hails from Statesboro, GA, where she received her B.A. in Theatre from Georgia Southern University in May of 2009 (Magna cum laude). She moved to Seattle February 2010 and has decided that the West Coast is the place for her.

While in school, she was the recipient of 3 different academic scholarships; as well as being a full-time student, she also worked three jobs (two of which were editing and writing for GSU’s literary arts magazine and student magazine – two separate publications), and was in new plays with the school’s Theatre department and the local community theatre each semester. Since graduating, she has become a published author, paid actor, and painting estimator.

Anna’s mother is an artist and taught art in many different public schools for 30 years, so she grew up loving and being around paint. While becoming an estimator was unexpected, it’s been an exciting and fulfilling venture nonetheless.

Anna began working with Shearer Painting as an office administrator and estimator in July of 2010; she is happy to be a part of a great team and looks forward to a long future with Shearer Painting!
